Sweet little sparrow
on stark black branches
for whom do u wait?

the trees have siphoned
the dark right from the sky,

wrapping their branches
in the womb of the noctural,

the rain is teeming
the stars dispersing
between the carved out trees,

their longing hearts
cradled by deep slumber,
dipping freely
into the well of nighttime,

conjuring up dreams
to spark the rebirth
of the moon colored flowers
