The Web

I wove a sheath of spiders web
With mental strands to catch the ebb
To filter out the gust of dreams
The would and would not in the reams

And they’re upon the threads of throw
Extracted from the sew of know
Lay a rainbow full of glean
The pure and substance of the scene

A drop of golden mist in gleam
The glimmer of a childish dream
That glittered in a diamonds glow
An essence pure and white as snow

A spirits esoteric swish
In an embryonic wish
Umbilical attached in lease
A heart that throbbed the beat of peace

I wrapped this spider web of goal
And placed it back inside my soul.

Such a beautiful flow throughout, Sy.  I don't know how you weave such wonderful words each morning, but I'm so glad that you do. Reading this was like opening a Christmas present ... it just made me smile with delight.  Merry Christmas to you and Isabel, sweet Sy!

Best wishes and big hugs,
/Kit
