Christmas wishes

Snowflakes are falling, thick, yet soft
I raise my head to see aloft
Christmas Eve, as I walk through the street
Candlelight in windows, oh so need

Through a wall made out of white
I see a light, shining through so bright
It’s a Star, shining from the North
As I walk down the street on the twenty-fourth

Full of thoughts I look upon the star
I wish silently “No more War”
I wish all the best to you
And also for the ones that you love,
I wish that too

For you, I hope the Star will shine
I hope that Christmas brings divine
May you have peace and also rest
I wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best
