I went on down to the lost and found,
Christmas presents I was hoping to find.
Something cheap and not very steep,
For some Passions friends of mine.

I found one glove I could give with love,
To Toerag, who has one hand it seems.
At least I think he has, for he always says,
"I need a hand writing poetry clean."

I found a hat to show others that,
There was something higher than Balladeer.
He'll never wear it, he coudn't bear it,
To have a hat squeeze so hard on his ears.

I found a bowl for someone we all know
To be a sweet as sugar and as pure.
Karilea deserves more, but, alas, I'm poor,
But she'll accept it with grace, I'm sure.

I found a frame with a cracked glass pane,
Suthern Belle will rejoice to place.
She can mount her friend, Toerag, therein,
And cherish his cracked, twisted face.

I found an umbrellar, for a lady who's stellar,
She'll need it in Victoria, BC.
Though she never complains of the incessant rains,
Mysteria deserves some dryness from me.

I found a kid's coat, Titia will gloat,
When she gets it in the mail Christmas Eve.
It may be a bit small, I hope Titia's not tall,
And her figure's of a child of three.

I found a rubber rat for old Alicat,
He'll jump it and pursue it with glee.
I found used chapstick for Sy to kiss,
Plus a handbag for Elizabeth from me.

Ratleader will stare at the soft Gummi Bears
I found when I dug deeper still.
That lost and found chest gave up its best
Treasures for my friends' Christmas thrills.

I found some loose ends for more of my friends,
Though too numerous to recount here.
Each present was sound, bless the lost and found,
For giving me presents so dear.

I loved the umbrellar, glad ya think I'm stellar?
You know you just warmed the heart of me.
I love the rain, therefore never complain
Cause we don't age here, just rust you see?

Happy Holidays, you wonderful nut you!  Hugs to your wonderful wife, and the cat too (by the way that is some cat!)

Now my cat is a real cat it has hair!

I hope I'm as graceful just as this gift is,
for a bowl holds hope, even when it's not full
there's a thought in a bowl, call it "promise"
and I know you know this poem is not full of bull...

Thank you, LJA!

Mike, if you buy the deer a hat
I'll tell you what I'll do.
You can be sure, without a doubt,
I'll take it off to you!

Merry Christmas to you and Lorelei, pal. May the new year bring prosperity and a few more hijinks!

God bless you all.  I can be gone for a year, yet I feel I haven't been gone at all when I come back.  You are all wonderful people who deserve only the best of all blessings.  Merry Christmas, my friends.
