History

History is the air we breathe
And we’re the heir of its bequeath
It is the enzyme of the prime
Mixed with a kiss from father time.

And life passes in and out
With each seedling of a sprout
And love and hate will rearrange
In the process of the change

While moments line the circle cell
In the segments that we dwell
With nothing really gained or lost
For eternity has no exhaust.

We are brothers you and I
For we are the wind of the why
And everything that’s turned to new
Holds the record of review.

From ash to ash and rust to rust
We are the heirs of histories dust

Morning Sy!  Loved this morning's words of wisdom.
How about a cup of special Christmas tea?
It has a bit of spirit in it.
~Morning hugs& tea, Nancy~

This gem of wisdom and rhyme is proof of why your are me King of WAAAAY KEWL...
just look at those lines of word play and wit...You took this theme and carried it to poetic perfection with your clever turn of phrase and metaphor verbiage.
I do so love the way your mind works
Very cool write of rite Sy-babes.
We are the lucky ones that we are the daily heirs to you poetry.

Once agáin a smile was set, on the notes of history.

So with my note, this is another blow of dust....
You have earned the peoples trust....
With  such  poetic thunder...
You make us all wonder.

Smile enjoyed

Jes

Now, what can I say -- I am a fan!  I liked every bit of this one, especially:

"And life passes in and out
With each seedling of a sprout
And love and hate will rearrange
In the process of the change"
