Partings are not always sweet.
Sometimes sorrow celebrates--
advice to those on winning streak--
take no pause, don't hesitate.

Should the miracle bestow
smiling shy upon blush face--
winking giggle glee on those
who never knew the warmth of grace,

take no pause, don't hesitate--
thinking just may mean demise
strike the iron, meld the plates
and let the present call past lie...

Sparks will fly from tempering
but swords unpolished dull in light
a compromise of strength within
concealed within the throes of fight

fractures in the metal show
revealed within the fire's trial
strike the iron as she glows
flaws as such can reconcile

by the pounding of the test.

Take no pause, don't hesitate.
let the fickled fingered fate
be the one from midst of hand
and by rebuke you may command--

every second screams ye choose...
The clock ticks slow in mockery.
tick tock win or tick tock lose?
I choose to die upon my feet--

with choice my honored epaulet
buried by more cautious fools.

Yanno sis, if ever the chance comes to speak at a graduation ceremony, use this one. Seriously.

serenity,
And so we doth do battle to vanquish our foes, be they without, or within. You have style and grace, formidable weapons, both.
May the holidays for you and yours be a time of joy and contentment, and the years to follow exciting and prosperous.

Hey Blaze, do you remember me?   (Bath Away the Day, I Say.)

You poems have a beautiful flow, but are kind of like a chess game to me.  Every time I think I understand what you mean, I become unsure.   You are such a deep, reflective thinker!   I would hate to play a game of chess with you!   You are already three moves ahead of me!

Just wanted to stop in and wish you happy holidays.  Merry Christmas.
