Oh muse.... When I’m dry, when I cry where are you then? When my tongue lays idle as my mind struggles, as my hand lies lifeless upon the page, where are you? When tears fall freely, when sadness overwhelms, when life is a struggle and all seems for naught. Promise me muse, my dear friend... That when I falter you shall rise from my humility and stroke the page in grandeur, leaving my soul in awe of you. For as I struggle, as I sometimes fail... I shall remember those moments when we wrote together, and from our words....waterfalls fell mightily to the sea.... |
