Let Me Sleep Forever Nobody told me life, Was gonna be unfair, Tomorrow’s fought with strife, No time to say a prayer, So let me kiss my wife, Before I wed despair. Chorus: Oh let me sleep forever, These ties that bind I’d sever, ‘Tis true my heart’s not clever, Oh let me sleep forever. Each day the sun rises, But it warms not my heart, There are no surprises, Our best we pick apart, We’re all wearing guises, Yes we’re all works of art.
