~*~*~*~

I long to hold the night air in my arms
and watch the snow fall in my dreams
but the mountains are so high to climb
and my emotions are an avalanche
cascading in the winter reign.
If only I could see beyond the daylight in your eyes
and reach you in the starry night
shining down on me.
I'd take you there and kiss the sky
and bathe with you in winter springs
just to watch our breath rise.

What a sweet poem... I have a feeling you are moving in new directions as a writer, and maybe as a Lori.

If he reads this he will follow you unless he has rocks in his head. I could see something different with every line and couldn't wait to read the next one.

Aw, hon... have you been peeking in my windows again? *S*

This is lovely... and I think the winter of your despair may be giving way... I hope! *S*

Thank you for your warm replies,
you are all just too nice, and I really
do appreciate you taking the time read.
Well it figures,  I  have come down with
the flu just in time for Christmas!
Gonna go fluff my pillows and have a spot
of tea and see if that helps.

Happy Holidays everybody!!!!
