Mental wings

I fly between the earth and sky
A butterfly, illusions eye
Above a scene of green on green
With colors of bewitchment sheen

My palettes source a rainbow flow
Painted on with extra glow
Sprinkled with a sky of gold
Subtle strokes but not too bold

Hover over morning’s dew
The jewels of dawn waiting new
Collecting nectar from the buds
That shine like tungsten photofloods

And in the misty mist of wile
I mix a mix of magic guile
And sprinkle it with ecstasy
To effervesce the fantasy

It stays with grace till early dawn
And disappears into the morn

hiya Sy, well, good morning, happy to see you, but...your late!!! hehehehhee....

We're on the same sync again...on my way to work this morning I was thinking about the glorious radiance of life...and how very awesome it is...as is your poem...as is all the poets here and of the world...we are truly blessed in each other, are we not?

Thank you kind sir, for writing and sharing...your voice is the voice of an emerald of morning!  Smiles and hugs and happy happy day to you and yours.

Sy,
You sure know to paint one!
Although this stood as a whole, I particularly liked these two images:

"My palettes source a rainbow flow"
      and....
"That shine like tungsten photofloods"
     Happy holidays, Sy!

Wonderful morning write Seymour! It is cloudy here and going to snow. Hmmmm....perhaps hot biscuits and honey with tea on this gloomy day! hugs, Chris

Hey Seymour

I love to see you here
With your smile so dear
Your rhyme is so devine
When read it sounds so fine
It takes me many places
And shows me many faces
For of your loving heart
You always share a part

Thank you, my friend.
