home

a footstep
crunching foam
stomp shatters
oooh the sparkle glass
shines pretty
boast the point
at last
singing sharp and free.

I trust
the lust
in gravity
painted drip
of sweet Dali
sipping magick
from your eyes
reflected in the down--

shutters

are shadowed by the lash --
enact -
the drip of rusted leaves
in wrap--
a bit of host's unleavened bread.

I trust
I eat my manna fried--
echo words of holiness--
cast your net upon the right
assure me I am born to this
flesh and sin and holiness
boast times convinced of lie
a stain of sweat in stead of cry
a simple mote within the eye
as I rolled the stone from free--

saying

"This you need of me"
knowing - you did not.

god bless

for I, too, know this grief.

Mary mixed the oil with tears
   wiping to the betterment
of so many miles to go...

wishing rest ye gentlemen,
   as she muttered,

           "home."
