Nothing As Lonely
As When You're Alone

So, here I am
all alone again.
I don't want to
write of just one.
I want to
write of two.
That would be
me and you.
Me, I know
all too well.
How many times I
tried and how many
times I failed.
And you, you
seem so far away.
Perhaps I'll meet
whoever you are
some day.
A woman who will
come and will stay.
And then it will
be me and you,
and again I will
find myself
writing of two.
