(About a week ago, I saw a sight I'd never seen before.  The temperature and weather conditions were just perfect for converting evergreens into fully blossomed apple trees!  The marriage of Spring and Winter only lasted about 15 minutes.  It was breath taking!

          A Winter Wedding

Just a touch beneath new sun
Winter time and Spring entwine.
Under flake's fall, white awakes
unsuspecting resting pine.

In dreams she was costumed overnight,
coniferous in her bridal white,
donning crystal finger rays
tipped in petal snow bouquets.

Reminds me of Mom's lane and waking up to the blanket of crystal and snow on a wintery morning.  Great!

iliana,
This one was a little different than the crystal-like look.  Sure, the needles had been bathed in crystal a little earlier, but the snow began to fall in a fluffier, more cotton-like texture, covering the shiny crystal.   It was that fluffiness that gave it the blossom appearance.
   Thanks for your reminscent comment!

garysgirl,
Gee, that was nice of you to sort through all the poems to find this!  And to boot, you bumped it up!  Thank you, that was a nice surprise.
Happy holidays to you and your family!

Kazeru,
I thank you for your kindness.  The poem was going to be longer, a short love story between the oak and cedar, but I grew impatient and cut it in half--just wasn't up to the challenge.  Down the road, I may finish it.   Other thoughts bounced in my head and got me sidetracked!
Again, thank you for your commenting.

I hope your holidays are safe and happy...

Antonio,
Thank you for your vote of confidence!
The snow, in itself, was unbelieveably beautiful!  I'm glad you enjoyed...
Best of the season to you and yours!

Romantic Heart,
Thank you for your comment about the imagery.  It took me quite a while to figure this one out,
although, now, as I reread it, it looked like it was easy to write!
    Happy holidays to you!

Snow,
I take it that snow is very dear to you!
(I'd be curious to know how you came upon your name.)   Thank you for the sparkly comment!
