Softly the thought surrounded him
Magically the feelings wafted over
Today I see light and dark
Tomorrow I feel the beauty of love
So here I sit and ponder them all
Thoughts and feelings and love
My heart aches for the thoughts
To hear and to feel another
To share depth and to express me
So deeply the thought pierces
So openly I seek to love and feel
Reality sets a hard block
Within I hide and say “not”
Not what you crave
Just isn’t time to save
So ponder I will
Thoughts I will think
Feelings and depth will not
Be sated but glimpses
Are there and when they surround
The reason for life quickly astounds
