In time,
the sound of your voice will fade
from the depths of my soul
this torturous ache
for your touch
will ease......
You won’t be there,
when I dream
scattering my emotions
across the night,
staining my morning
with tears....
And this love.....
will find a worthy heart
as mine is healed,
of you

.....in time.....

~SEA~  I hope with all my heart that time will be swift in it's passing.
This is such a beautiful poem,
it's enough to make me break down and cry my eyes out.
(so what else is new)

Merry Christmas and lots of hugs to you Susan.

and today had started out so bright!

i like this. it renders itself to ready association by virtually anyone. the tone worked well for expressing the logical understanding that "some day" it would be better, while feeling that "right now" ... well, sucks!

hugs susanofer, glad you don't live this. glad you wrote it.
