It is finally Christmas day,
oh yes it’s certainly true
but inside there’s a part of me
that’s feeling a little bit blue.

On this special day I am holding
many precious memories dear
of the way you touched our lives
in that time that we had you here.

I stop and reflect for a moment
and I am held in simple thought,
with thanks for all of the lessons
that with care you so lovingly taught.

I won’t frown and be sad
because you’re not physically here
for within my heart you are with me
each and every day throughout the year.

Donna...I know the feeling of having Christmas
without those that have passed over before us.
But, they are most certainly in our hearts and prayers, not only at this time of year, but as you say...each and every day.
