Time has locked so many momories It also holds tomorrow I long for the day when my heart is lighter Not filled with so much sorrow I try to put the pieces together Slowly, one by one Just when I think I've made progress My heart strings seem to come undone As I fall to the ground I stand right back up once more I don't cry, for nothing to be sad about One day with the angels, I too shall soar My heart is just a passage way To the soul that waits inside Never have lied about who I am I will never truly hide Though the pain hurts me I only show the smile on my face Wondering why this life was chosen for me As I think of what's been my saving grace Mom in heaven, hear my cries You were my very best friend I don't know what to do here without you As I head into tomorrow, going around the bend "love is like a butterfly-- if you chase it, it will surely fly away,instead hold it close and watch it grow into something beautiful" ~me~ [This message has been edited by Aimster (12-17-2003 08:44 AM).] |

Amy, It does disturb me how our dear ones age..and that's there's only one way out of all this. All I can say is keep up the spirit to live as happily as you can  |
