Was there a time When life saw love When people shared energy When all was love Was there a time when we held Life’s charms within our arms When we fed on laughter and saw the sky So full of hope so open to all Was there a time when we still thought yes A time when we were immune to redress I think that time has been and gone I think we stand apart open protective and hurt A time we aren’t sure of Tentative and careful Not wanting to open Wounds and hurts Of those other times when life saw love |

Paul...there is so much that is wonderful about life...I try to focus on that...small things even that go unnoticed, can bring joy. And without love there would be little meaning to anything...so yes, there is love. A thought-filled poem, my friend. Hugs! |
