This
a shifting of the sand
emery of fingerskin
try to make it form a shape
pouring like a sieve
I ache
to see it all
there at my feet
truth in move
a thrift of truth
vowing grit
of the grandstand
I wish I knew
I wish
I knew

what little children understand...

Karen I think most little ones understand far more than adults do because they still have such an innocence to them. (hmm....wondering if thats why I still understand so much....lol... )

Would but we could all harness some of their understanding I am sure the world would be a much better place.
Wonderful write Seren...

The innocence of children
is simply amazing...
they take EVERYTHING
at face value.

Great write, Serenity...

And I think we can understand if we just open ourselves up to accept it.

...but you do know; when you awake in the quiet dark, before you gather your mind back into this life's familiar personality, you know at least for a few moments each time.

We as adults worry about our sandcastles being washed away....children giggle at the prospect. Love this Karen! hugs, Chris

*smile* This one got me thinking of Supertramp's 'The Logical Song'. Poignant and well penned, blazing soul Serenity.
