At the dusty gate I wait
for the dream,
pronounce it with skin teeth
and love bleeding.

Will the phantom cross
to the other place, turn callus to silk
and weave his magic into musk?
I drink my goodnight
and listen at the window
for the moon.

Rich is the fabric of delight
that I see weaving towards me
from the silent dark,
across the fount within the garden
into the bare weeping of my belief.

oooh, oooh, that last line especially!!!!!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Martie, this says so much about being true to ourselves.

I especially liked the last verse....
Thank you for taking me there.

You've woven an image in my mind here, that is hard to let go. The last line brought this home beautifully. Well done Martie, very much enjoyed.

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit
