With my darkling

I come to pay, the toll, today
I pay in coin, my soul to pray
and I will dance my life away
in drink, and song, in everyway

I come, to pay, the price, tonite
I pay in gold, a coin to fight
for what I know, is truly right
my need to feel, your arms tonight

I come, to pay, the cost, you asked
for things I found, beyond my grasp
I pay in truth, with my last gasp
that every man, could hear you laugh

I come to pay, my God, his due
I pay in song, and sing to you
and drown in eyes, of deepest blue
and deeper still, the depths of you

I come to pay, my girl, in gold
as pain and life behind unfold
her sweet embrace, will always hold
a kingdoms worth, in gems and gold
