Waiting

there is
not one drop
of tears
that I
do not regret

if I
could turn
time around
I would

if I
could
I would
change things

to where
I had not
hurt you

I sit
in silence
waiting for

forgiveness

It's hard to wait for that...I hope it comes to you soon.

Every word....

....resonates. I can't imagine such an open and vulnerable poem not getting a response.

But then, there are many things I can't imagine, and they happen.....

So sad and lonely sounding. When will the hurt go away...

Sweetly put.

Forgiving is in the heart of the beholder, but it's an awful way to feel when you're on the opposite end.  I could forgive a life time, but I won't beg for it.

You are such an expressive poetess,
and your writing is truly a gift, Helen~
