It Seems This Heart

It seems this heart can not know ease -
-Without thy kisses or a squeeze.
'Tis you that makes my life complete,
So ask me not to be discrete.

"I love you," there's no other truth,
Our love is the fountain of youth,
So in its' waters I will swim,
Until I have sung every hymn.

'Tis thee I dream of every night,
In fields of green and sweet delight,
Yea sleepless days bring naught but ache,
So ask me ne'er my love to wake.

My yesterdays are but a curse,
For life without thee is perverse.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Kevin, this is a beautiful love poem!!
You knew that this hopeless romantic
would love it, didn't you? LOL
Very good writing and devine rhymes, my friend.

Thank-you garysgirl for reading both of the poems I wrote this morning. I lost my muse there for a while but today I woke up and my mind was just fired up with ideas. Both of these poems ripped out of my head in 30 minutes. I feel better knowing that my gift for rhyme has returned. (Wink!)

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

So very beautiful are your verses this wintery morn.
I'm so glad your muse has returned.
You were missed. *wink*

I know I'll love the others too.

Lots of Ribbits and ribbits.
