The Government‘s gone and done it!
They want to mess with nature’s laws
They think they found a way to grow
a million Santa Clause!

Down in the jungles of Brazil
hanging from a tall fruit tree
are millions of fake Santas
ready to be shipped to you and me

Revolt I say! This cannot occur
We must gather up our defenses
what will the children think of this?
let’s vote and take a consensus!

Just look at this example here
we surely can’t have that!
What is the world coming to?
It’s a Santa Banana Cat!!

This cannot be proven,
so it must be false.
Both cynics and the tabloids
are clearly at a loss.

Though a million Santas
would meet the deadline fast
this could never happen
as he is the first and last.

So's I will be a scoffer
a downright disbelieva
and if more proof is needed
my stamp do say Chiquita!

*grin* Couldn't help it, PdV.

Your nose is gonna grow over this tall tale that is for sure!  I don't mind them cloning Santa, that means more goodies.

Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.

I remember Santa Banana.  Wasn't he the one that defeated Davy Chocolate at the Ala Mode?  Didn't realize he had a cat. (must have been in his hat...)

My darling Ms deVine,
I'll not fall for this shallow trick.
You're hoping I'll try to kick the kitty,
And on its peeling slip!

I'll have you know, Ms deVine
I'm a lot smarter than that!
I'll carefully watch where I step,
When I kick that cat!

Although I must admit,
It's likely I'll not go reeling,
That kitty is too cute,
For me to be a peeling.

Here's to you, Sharon!  Neato poem!
