I am no teller of timely tales
that speak of a glorious season
Stories from me will only be told
when within there is a reason
When troubles and worries are
what fills this soul and mind
Then the ideas form into words
and an outlet I need to find
Pages used here can never tell
more than a hint of the story
But the value in them for me
is in the release from worry
So instead of the sleep that
the brain and body desire
I sit at a keyboard and write
words without any real fire
Not just a way to pass the time
but as a personal release
Because through writing I find
more than a little peace

Bind  me sole and Soul to the One
Together to pour Love into the world
until tears of joy fall like rain

"word"  Writing is such a release.  Or in my case I would say "therapy"

The Poem

A boil under pressure, needing release, even if so messy . . . a bit like a blood-letting.
No choice, really.

I like the meter in this one.  It trips right along.
