Its Then I Began To Wonder

Reading through those words
Was it honesty being spoken
Its then I began to wonder
Of promises that are broken

Words led me down the path
Because I had truly believed
Its then I began to wonder
Maybe I have been decieved

Strung along by the promises
Until yet another one breaks
Its then I began to wonder
Of why my trusting heartaches

So why am I forever yearning
For someone thats not there
Its then I began to wonder
His promises led me nowhere
