~*~

You are like a brand new ornament
that sparkles and shines every which way it turns
neither placed at the top or bottom
centered just so in December's glow
surrounded by the twinkling
without all the fancy tinsel
that overshadows the simple beauty
adorning the merriment of my holidays
warmed by the friendship you bestow
inspires me to write and tell you so.

Lori...a special friend usually comes along because you have done something to make them be such...I'll just bet that is the case here.  A lovely poem!  Hugs!

(kiss on cheek) Awwwwwwwww, your special friend is going to be delighted reading this gentle and golden holiday song from your Christmas heart, sweet friend, God Bless You, your heart is always lighting up and it never needs lights hung up around it to shine, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Lovely write of the season and friendship poetess Lori. This would make a wonderful poem to personalize your Christmas cards!

I can remember Forever December,
The center of dying ... the heart of the pain.
The stars surround me ... the cold astounds me.

I have a feeling that the person this poem's for already knows--you're not one to hide your feelings.... If not, I can't think of a better way to learn it.

Well, maybe one better way.....

Every man
should be so lucky
to have such a mate
to put such thoughts to paper
and make him feel himself to be, a man.

I loved it...
