I Can’t Face Life Like I Used To
I’ve Locked Myself Away, Lost Inside Myself
The Darkness, A Nightmare I Will Never Defeat
Screaming Out Uses Every Ounce Of Energy
Yet Always Falls On Deaf Ears

Everyday The Same {Edited by moderator}
Entombed Inside This Claustrophobic Space
Like Four Walls Closing In On Me
No Escape No Doors To Free Myself
Locked In A Terrifying Abyss

The Fear I Feel Eats Away At Me
Tearing, Ripping Me Apart From The Inside Out
Sitting Alone Terrified, Tears Have All But Dried
Mind Racing Over Tripped Up Thoughts
Scared In My Desperate Tomb

Even With Eyes Opened
I Still See This Place
A Hell With No Hope Nor Life
My Soul Which Has Long Died
My Heart Which Beats For the Sake Of Beating
Me Lost In An Endless Void

You speak for so many that simply put one foot in front of the other each day, and really go no where.  Depression is a horrible illness, and you caught all its demons well in this poem.

Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.
