As we gather by the river
in the town where knowledge flows
forever cheaply,
like blood
mixed with wine and water,
will you dance for me
again alive
as Hera's daughter,
while the Sun is dying in my dreams?

Can we watch together
and can I finally choose
to let it go,
or do we gird again for battle
as we have in every life;
do we bathe within eternity
carried by the river's waves,
howling with the Dryads
accepting the paternity
of their declining days,
as tongues of Winter moan
begging
for the blade
to slit the white bull's throat?

It is still the only way
we've known since time began,
to bring the wheel of life
full circle ‘round again.

I am very intrigued by the imagery of this poem.  Please explain the following:

"in the town where knowledge flows"

Just give me that hint and let me try from there.

Really liked this one.  Made me think--a lot.

We can watch together,
when you choose to leave
your words here for our
pleasure...

thank you, Sir.

I'm not entirely sure why, but this needs to go up.
