Take the Hard Road

Life sends on many journeys,
On some we'd rather not make.
Life also gives us paths and choices,
Although we know not which to take.
Usually one path is the asier way,
Thus that's the path we choose.
Yet on this path sometimes we find,
That at the end we lose.
So it seems we have no guarantee,
That on either path we'll win.
So why always take the easier way,
Only to begin again?
If you take the harder road in life,
You might learn as you go along.
And if you learn at least one thing,
The road you took wasn't wrong.
So don't always take the easiest route,
As you go through your life.
At times it's best to take the hard road,
Lessons are learned from struggle and strife.

ahhhhhhhhh, such truth. such truth! Life is not worth living if one always takes the "easy way" Thank you for sharing.
