+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ As shadows grow with setting sun, A stillness falls across the land. Wood cradle's rocked by loving hand, When darkness falls and day is done. I love poems about the end of day and yours is very restful. I always enjoy your writing. You might look at Longfellow's Day is Done and Phoebe Cary has almost a parody of it, it so close. Nice job. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

Awesome piece!!! Im really amazed by this piece of poetry. It reminds of this song entitled "I Am The Wooden Doors", and this piece fits perfectly along with the song (which I just happen to be listening to at the moment). BRAVO! |
