Could I spill the stars to shower gems upon you

Turn the ocean tides to carry you along

Bring the heavens to you with your morning coffee

Tempt the whispers of the woods to play you song

There would be no greater joy that could fulfill me

In the effort it may take to make secure

A foundation for your passage on this journey

To make blessed in this life as dreams endure

For I see in you such qualities worth measure

The most sensual of sculpture acquiesced

For the form a simple shell concealing treasure

Far beyond imagined wealth of human best

In your heart resides a fire ever burning

And I see with such delighted eyes the thrill

The undoubted wonderment divines discerning

In His image such an art of way and will

Could I give enough to warm you through the darkness

Orchestrate the sun to shine for you each day

It would pale within the light you shine about me

Whether you are here with me or far away

Could I find the simple pleasures to astound you

Bring you happiness that shelters any rain

I would give my life for love to but surround you

Giving up all silly note or jealous claim

You belong unto the wilderness beyond me

And in accolades I see you off each flight

For I know that we reside within each other

And I know by heart the curves and vales right

So in keeping with a theme that is the basis

Of the things that matter most to me for sure

Could I put in capsule joy in certain stasis

Certainly this love to thrive inside so pure

just heavenly and devine
and if to keep such beauty as a treasure that doesnt tarnish with time, if only inside, would be sweet

I enjoyed this poem. It held my attention. Some longer ones tend to lose the interest of the reader, this one didnt at all.  Good writing.
