+*+*+*+*+

I'm a little tea granny,
I love a cup of tea.
It matters not the brand or sort,
It all tastes fine to me.

Green tea, black tea,
Chai tea full of spice.
Herbal teas, fruity teas,
They all taste mighty nice!

Steaming from a teapot,
Or steeping in my cup,
I'm sipping tea, all day long,
From when the sun comes up!

Tea makes me cosy,
All nice and warm inside.
And there's nothing like a cup
Of tea, by the fireside.

Won't you come and join me,
By my window with a view?
And we can have some chit chat
And sip a brew or two.

I'll sit down with a cup any day with you Linda.
I do prefer Chai, but I enjoy Green as well..
this morning I'm having Black Currant.
Enjoyed this piece along with my cuppa.

I don't think I understand the taste of tea...therefore can't appreciate it :S
I'll stick to my very creamified coffee

I love ice tea! Nothing slakes the thirst better on a hot summer's day! I squeeze lots of fresh lemon in mine!

~ and yes! It would be my pleasure if you were to join me!

To tea for two!

The day will come when you & I will do just that!

P.S. Black current is one of my favourites! Yummy! Steeped nice and long to get all the flavour out of the tea leaves.

Yes, that would be delightful if we were to share a pot together! (Please note that I wrote "a" pot ~ not "some" pot! lol)

Warm hugs & smiles,

Thank you so much for the invite. You know you don't have to ask twice.

See you shortly. Put another log on the fire.

Hugs, Marti

Yum! My favorite tea was Honey Cinnamon and they stopped making it.    I love your poem - teabags of all sort take up lots of room in my kitchen, and the fridge is never bare of a pitcher of Southern Sweet Tea lol.... well, I'm southern to the core so gotta have it, ya know!

Wonderful write

(smiles) Yay! Oh Linda, I love tea so much, sweet friend, here in Boulder, where I go to college, it is the healthy tea capital of the United States, where Celestial Seasonings was born, the #1 organic tea provider! (kiss on cheek) Hey, have you ever tried yerba mate, that is good stuff too, quite good for your health, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Icequeen ~

I know what you mean about the teas taking up a lot of room in your kitchen! They do in mine as well! ~ and I also have a pantry! lol
That's too bad about your Honey Cinnamon tea no longer being made. Perhaps you could make your own! It sounds delish!

To tea, or not to tea! That is the question!

Noah ~

I'd love to join that tea party! I wonder if they would mind if we were to drop by for some tea and crumpets!

That was interesting info. re Celestial Seasonings. Now I'll think of you whenever I drink one of their teas ~ and that is nearly every day! lol

I'll keep an eye out for "yerba mate". I like trying out new things!

To friendship tea times!

Me thinks I should try some tea. He he he,
I will have to learn to appreciate the essence of tea. Cause you see, coffee has always been my cup of tea.
