There’s something wrong! cried Terpsichore,
It seems that Venus is no more,
There’s just a hole where she’s to shine
Our sparkling gem of vespertine.
Perhaps she’s left and ran away,
Or even worse, there’s been foul play.
Perhaps a thief has stole her light,
And carried her off into the night.
The gods searched high and muses low,
They asked each other, where could she go?
The welkin sky was an empty place,
Without the splendor of Venus’ grace.
Then Orion the Hunter let out a yell,
I’ve found the spot where Venus fell,
It seems she’s down on planet earth,
She’s been reborn, a human birth.
I had to smile at gods on high,
And at the muses in night’s sky,
It was not Venus in my arms,
No star could match your radiant charms.

Mr. Tim that Mrs. Tim is one lucky woman, having you write of her as you do, and these poems of yours make me believe that there is still love out there!  Happy Holidays to you both.

Not missing at all, it seems...
not if she is there,
in your arms.

Smiling....
