Your so sweet,
a Christmas treat,

Red and white,
a tasty delight,

Peppermint flavor,
cooling to savor,

A Christmas tradition,
eating candy confection,

Hanging sweetly on my tree,
so many to eat, yummy!yummy!

Tasty, delicious,
non-fattening,nutricious,

Make my breath cool and minty,
at Christmas I have plenty,

Grab one and take a lick,
to eating one there is a trick,

Eat from the top of the cane,
Go all the way down,

This way your hands don't get sticky,
If you don't leave the wrapper on,tricky,

Candycanes are a Christmas treat,
Come to my house, I have plenty to eat,

I will share all of my candy with you,
For sharing is the Christmasy thing to do,

Merry Christmas to all, to all a goodnight,
Grab some hot coccoa and eat your candycane tonight!
