a shadow falls across the land
the time of action is close at hand
the fate of all has come to rest
on little hearts put to the test

they must venture far from home
trusting another on where to roam
a strange creature shall lead the way
while they fight to keep evil at bay

they must travel to the bowels of hell
in order to break a terrible spell
one forged thousands of years ago
born in the fire's sadistic glow

others once joined in the fight
but of their purpose they lost sight
for the power of the one true ring
overshadowed even the purest thing

turning good instantly bad
making even the most sane go mad
only one can resist it's awful curse
so the others willingly disperse

he carries on with his friend
together until the bitter end
they roam across the barren land
hoping to change the fates at hand

"When your life is tossed and turning
And you are on the raging sea I'll come and pull you from the water Then you will know that you are free" - MWS
