somebody's dungeon

I could have stayed silent
flexible, compliant
but that just isn't me.

You know that the we
was off kilter, askew
there was way too much you.

So I screamed
and the picture

minus the fixture
of painted on smiles,

rests in the album
of our once in awhile.

How sad that forever
won't photograph well.

"How sad that forever

~ how sadly poetic! I love the uniqueness of your writing. You come up with so many memorable lines.

Good to read you again!

There isn't a single line in this piece that doesn't have a special touch to it.  I find your turning of a phrase to be unique to say the least.  I really enjoyed this work.

Then watch as the Raven
removes it with care
