The Simple Pleasure Are Free

The simple pleasures in life
Felt by the holding of hands
Hugs from the one you love
Strolling upon golden sands

The beauty that is all around
A colourful arch of a rainbow
Watching a sunset descend
Bathed in the warming glow

As pink and lavender blends
Into a softly coloured twilight
Gazing the moon in full glow
Stars appear twinkling bright

A cascading waterfall flowing
Streams that  meander along
Surrounded by natures beauty
Happy sound of birds in song

In the heat of a summers day
Sat beneath the shading tree
As a butterfly glides in grace
The simple pleasures are free

You are so right. The simple pleasures are for free.Stopping to watch a squirrel do his high wire act, birds playing in a puddle, children laughing and playing, a sunset, listening to summer rain in the evening. So many things in life to enjoy.

How often we neglect life's simple pleasures Hope.
And...most times they are the best!
Love this...
Hugs~!
