As we step in open meadows
Fingertips connect a trembled distance
I seek no fame…a locket for my chain
Instead the shed of all resistance, watering in longings rain
Faith has called us here in blend, its lingered send
Where pink and purple sunrise will surround us
Your tenderness upon my face where love has found us
Watching in your eyes the boundless romp within tall grasses
To open fields of me, as beauty thrives and mourning passes
And all around the peaceful sound of dawns well singing
A thoughtful gait, articulate the moments clinging
To sip the nectars of the blooms of me you blossom
In bouquet within your arms
As woodland scents the air made awesome
So delicate the weave of spirit spoken in sensations token
And keepsake rare, my soul to share and shimmer dawn
Within the calm explore delightful, and tongued insightful
Brushing lips upon the sun you glow
Within the purest parts of me I know
And all the ground I’ve lost, in taking airs first frost
To melt into a droplet left within the spring
Rising lace across the graceful falls fledged nest and wing

My first time on this board, and boy did I pick a good read to start with.  The last four lines are breathtaking, and in general, I loved the piece.
