Don’t Read The End First ….for icebox

in the middle
of my insecurities
you arrived
and showed me
that no weakness
is too great
to destroy
we go on
flipping through
blank pages
hoping to find
ink that
does not disappear
maybe you are right
this journey
is worth the travel
and there are pages
yet to be written

This is lovely Helen,
I like the reference to ink that does not disappear.

Keep on writing your heartfelt poetry
and expressing yourself so beautifully.

Enjoyed, as always~

Excellent symbolism. And yes, there are many pages to be written, and songs to be sung before the end of our glorious journeys. Thank you for sharing.

Maybe....maybe some day....

....you will find someone who will at least read the beginning....which appears not to have happened yet. I hope that.
