And if in mantle lay the rose
Just blooms on snow so rare enclose
But whispers of a silent sleep
And inward draws to humble keep
By cliff and claw then spent remand
Held like paper clip of hand
Enfolded to these parts unknown
Just blooms on snow in moonlight lone
Against the wind of gray enchant
To walk upright a rocky slant
Kept to the stead of loyal oaks
Without the bound as wary chokes
And sweet surround of well and care
Just blooms on snow that tenders there

Kathleen, the title pulled me in, it's such a beautiful thought.
I could see the bloom of a beautiful flower in white.

I have stated this before, but rhyme is my heroin, and this poem was a huge fix.  It is a gift to be able to express ones self so eloquently, yet still be heard.  You my dear are definitely gifted.
