Day Dream

Standing on a rusty knoll
Looking o’er a dusty hole
I saw a glimmer down below
A curl of smoke in wends of go.

And there on left a downward slope
Pebbles spread of gray brown taupe
Leading to a shadows fall
A pueblo built against the wall.

And there a donkey stood a rail
Head held low and swishing tail
Pawing at the rusty dust
Waiting for his masters must

When out the door this manors lord
Brought a shovel and working horde
Strapped them on the donkey’s back
Grabbed the rope and gave a clack

And softly sang a song in swear
“There is a rainbows end out there.”

I have been saving so many of your sonnets, that I must have enough to make a book out of them! Which brings to mind the suggestion that I have made to you on several occasions regarding you approaching a publisher! ~ Perhaps you could get an agent to handle everything for you! I do know that you have a marketable poetic product! I'd buy a book ~ even though I probably have every poem already filed away! lol

I absolutely adore this particular poem! It is so descriptive, imaginative, appealing, dreamy, creative, fascinating, inspirational...

Have a glorious day, Dear Sonneteer! You and your muse deserve it!

You are a sweetheart.

Kahlil,

You are the sweetest Angel I know
and of the first hundred poems I wrote, I picked out fifty designed one of my pen and inks for the cover and am trying to find someone reasonable to print up about 25 books, to give to my friends. And you are on the top of my list.

Good afternoon, Sy,
Just had to drop by!   I am so delighted that you, again, transported me to a different place with your wonderful detail, perspective, imagery, rhythm and all that jazz!   I think it's great to publish those 25 copies, but that seems like such a small number for the quality of your work!   Have a good one.

I am sitting here until I see part two of this and actually challenge you now, to write a story in poetry how about that?  You can do it!  I have the rest of my life here so I will just sit around and wait for it okay Hi Isabel!
