where the wild flowers grow

There is nothing
more beautiful
than a butterfly,

dripping paint as it thrashes it's wings.

In flight..

we hear the moaning of the wind..
The weeping of the willows
below our feet.

I too,
damned myself in this
world that is an eye,
that perpetually blinks..so that I,
am not able to grasp
the mere concept

of flight.

I love this whole poem, with it simplicity and yet it’s grandeur. Well done

This is...damn, can't find my words. Haven't had that happen to me in a while. Anywho, I'm keeping it.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.
