Softly spoken words Her heart breaking with each one Eyes awash in tears Once he loved her Now he is gone Corrupted by the world Encorceled by temptations fantasy Undone by someone elses dream Perhaps he will return Only...will she be there? Night fades into mornings glory And her tears fade with time Tomorrow and tomorrow and another romorrow In spite of hime she goes on Making each tomorrow her own Endings arent always the end She sighs and now begins Intrigued by a glimpse of perhaps Gone are the fears, the tears Here is where she wants to be Enduring now longer, but empowered Don't all fairy tales end "happily ever after" |
