Black, gray and white, like a daily paper,
carelessly crumpled, and thrown to the street,
the sky was reflected in the cold, puddled pavement.
People stepped on the clouds with negligent feet.

This year, December was strangely enigmatic,
as the landscape dispersed in the hoary haze.
Like some maniac lover, passionate and fanatic,
the wind chased people, kissing them on the face.
