In times like these I miss you the most My angel in the sky I ask myself a million times a day Why? Things seem so senseless They do not need to be Try as hard as I can I can't seem to set my heart free I cry, but I'm out of tears This just can't continue on Though yes I'm standing here I feel my soul is already gone I need you Mom, so much it hurts You were always my saving grace I'd give anything in the world To feel your loving embrace I was but a moth when I met you You showed me how to be a butterfly I don't understand one thing though Why did we have to say goodbye "love is like a butterfly-- if you chase it, it will surely fly away,instead hold it close and watch it grow into something beautiful" ~me~ [This message has been edited by Aimster (12-02-2003 10:56 AM).] |

I see that I am not alone in liking this poem. I recently lost my uncle who I was close with. This poem makes me think very much of him. Great job. Know that you will hold your mother one day again. |
