~*~
We step between
The rise and set of destiny
My eyes are kissed repeatedly
Your smile traced an imprint warm
Such spirit that remains my shelter
In effigy of willows high
To climb a mountain’s magic sigh
Whispered secretly in shivered reverie
A patient stand and lean belie
Such mighty craving finds its crest
Your finest hour at twilight blessed
Within my arms filled full and all
To you my love my heart does call
Over and over in echo of sands
Slipped from the creases
Aligning my hands in your touch
Of soft bewilder feathers brush
So wide my see, into your look on me
Sparkling mirror of this dance
On lakeside waters rippled chance
The rise and set of destiny
We step between

If I were this dude....I think I would be
on a bus...a train...or something...going
like a bat out of hell in your direction...

Beautifully done K.  you do this impressively

I kept coming back to this line.

"We step between the rise and set of destiny".

Nicely done.

ThisDiamond - you know what? This has to be the most beautiful poem you have written that I've read, and I"ve read many of them. This is just great, I like it much...

Kathleen~
So graciously elegant~

'Within my arms filled full and all
To you my love my heart does call
Over and over in echo of sands'
