I pray to find strength in words
as I stare at blank pages
  {in search of something more}
waiting for
emotions to spill
in ink of quill,
and thoughts of rhyme
fading of time...

Flickers of moments
flames of desire
soft warmth of love
in glow of fire

and the scent
of yesterday remains.......

      {Tears no longer fall
       from eyes of pain
       in treasured hold
       cherished memories gained.}

In breeze of winter
I whisper your name
to stars held high
in night of sky
    and the bitter of cold
     could not reach
     to my soul
         still warmed by the knowing of you.

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...
{Trace Adkins}

luv you

I had a dream last night
you came to me on silver wings of light
I flew away with you in painted sky
Was it real
Is it what you see,touch or feel

This reminded me of "better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all."
bitterly sweet. Emotion came across and I
wanted to hug you when I finished.
