In another time I would have crumbled to dust
And the eagles are flying west
Over the moonlight and into the beyond
And carving the psyche up for less
honest optons
Is a futile exercise
It like expecting life to be
smooth and unruffled
Like a clear calm pond
And looking into the faces of humanity
And despairing I grip courage's hand
And walk into a troubled future
