Open Thoughts

Play of words
Twist of sentence
Writing of birds
Telling of penance

Wanting to see
Reaching for sky
Wanting to be
Asking us why

These are poems
That is prose
Mind that roams
Opens the rose

The rose opens and emits its scent
life passes, I wonder where it went...

Thanks everyone! I had some 'puter problems and when I got things straightened out. I had forgotten this poem. Didn't mean to take so long to respond to your comments. This is one of my favorites!
